Creating and sustaining comprehensive information management and information governance programs that protect critical information assets.

Because businesses thrive on quality information,

the most successful organizations constantly search for better ways to manage and control it.  Everything a company does hinges on this: making insightful decisions, maintaining operational effectiveness, and ensuring safety, profitability, and compliance.

For more than 30 years, Access Sciences has guided organizations to more effectively manage and govern their information. We architect, build, and sustain comprehensive information governance programs that protect critical information assets so that organizations can derive maximum value from them.  Our sustainable data quality programs ensure authenticity and accuracy in a dynamic data environment.

How will this save my company money?

To reduce operating costs and minimize an organization’s information footprint, we develop a streamlined program for employees to create, access, use, and dispose of information throughout the information lifecycle. Our team researches the legal and regulatory retention requirements that apply to your organization, in order to define and implement defensible disposition of physical and electronic information. This allows the organization to derive cost savings wherever the information management program touches. The better you understand the information you create and use, the more value you can realize.

Success Story:

Information Governance – Positioning for Success

Our client, a mid-sized energy company was experiencing information management growing pains as their organization expanded.  Driven by the increased compliance and litigation risks that come with growth, they recognized the need to more formally manage their information assets.

Success Story:

Finding Information Confidently With An Enterprise Taxonomy

As with many global organizations, this client had assets and offices in many countries without consistency regarding where information was stored and how it was organized.  Employees were frustrated by the amount of time required to find information.  In cases where the hunt was unsuccessful, money was spent to recreate content they knew already existed ‘somewhere,’ and in cases where the search was successful, there was little confidence that the most recent, trusted version had been found.

Success Story:

Enterprise Taxonomy Provides
Organizational Clarity

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) manages the flow of electric power to more than 25 million Texas customers — representing about 90 percent of the state’s electric load. As the independent system operator for the region, ERCOT schedules power on an electric grid that connects more than 46,500 miles of transmission lines and 600+ generation units.
