I was reading an article this morning on InsideCousel about Auto Classification of Records.  The main point of the article was that employees cannot keep up with the amount of electronic content created each year if they need to manually classifiy records.  While not perfect, auto classification may allow for "good enough" retention with little effort by employees for most organizations.

Iron Mountain released the results of a survey last week that had some interesting data points.  The survey was conducted earlier in the year and included responses from over 5,500 professionals in mid-sized companies in the UK.

It was my pleasure to attend the Managing Electronic Records (MER) conference this year. Access Sciences was one of 17 companies invited to exhibit.  In this blog posting, I will offer some perspectives and observations on what some of the best minds in records and information management focused on.
