The latest issue of ARMA's Information Management Magazine is out. I have the lead article, "Taking the Lead in the Information Race". In it, I argue that records managers cannot watch the technology world fly by - instead, they have to actively develop and maintain their "technology chops" in order to remain relevant.

If you are anywhere in the Houston area on May 1st, you need to be at the first ever SharePoint Saturday Houston. It is just a short 2 weeks away and preliminary registrations indicate this will be a well attended event.

Our team members frequently get asked whether we'd be able to talk about a particular topic to a particular audience. Sometimes this is a request to speak at a public meeting for an association like ARMA or AIIM. Other times, it's to speak to an organization's senior management, or records management function, or to everyone in a particular office. In this post I will explore how to get someone from Access Sciences to speak at your function.

ARMA 2009 is now exactly one month away. The 2009 ARMA Conference and Exposition officially opens on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
