Houston, TX, July 6, 2007—Access Sciences Corporation announces the hiring of Doug Schultz as Principal Consultant. Schultz comes to Access Sciences with a broad Information Technology background that includes software development, technical infrastructure, project management, technology evaluations and enterprise content management technologies.

Schultz brings a wide range of in-depth knowledge and experience in dealing with the people, process and technological aspects of Information Technology. He excels at bringing teams together to develop and implement solutions that allow business users to obtain timely, customer-friendly access to accurate information.

Schultz holds a Master’s of Science degree in Computer Information Systems Management from Houston Baptist University in Houston, and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and Computer Science from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Schultz is a member of AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management International), ARMA (Association of Records Management Professionals), and PMI (Project Management Institute). He received the GlobalStar ECM Champion Award from Open Text, a leading ECM technology provider, in November 2006. He is active in charity organizations including Rebuilding Together, a group dedicated to improving the homes and lives of those in need, and several animal rescue organizations.
