AIIM, the ECM association, just rolled out two new initiatives to bring together users, vendors, and industry experts in the areas of electronic records management and Enterprise 2.0 - and Access Sciences is pleased to be involved. The first is the AIIM Ambassador program. AIIM Ambassadors will be contributing their time and expertise to finding, reviewing, and facilitating the development of new resources in the two areas above. Doug Schultz, Principal Consultant at Access Sciences, is an AIIM Ambassador.

The second is the AIIM Expert Bloggers. These are individuals selected by AIIM for their experience, deep understanding of their target area, and willingness to share that experience and understanding in a blog post at least once per week. Jesse Wilkins, Principal Consultant at Access Sciences, is an AIIM Expert Blogger in the ERM community. The full list of ERM bloggers can be found at http://www.aiimcommunities.org/erm/blogs/about-the-experts. Jesse's latest post, introducing Records Management 2.0, can be found at http://www.aiimcommunities.org/erm/blog/records-management-20

So far both initiatives are doing pretty well - there are dozens of blog posts in the Experts blog and the Community blog, which is available to anyone who wants to write there, has seen some very interesting posts as well. Time will tell whether the momentum can be sustained, but speaking as a member and contributor I think AIIM is off to an excellent start.
