Jesse beat me to “Hello World” (for the non-technologists out there, getting a computer application to print “Hello World” is a typical first exercise when learning a new programming language). In any event, it’s a pleasure to be able to contribute to this blog from a technology and process viewpoint. I’m responsible for the Technology Consulting Practice at Access Sciences and have the opportunity to work with a very talented team who bring a wide-range of skills and experience that span the technical and business worlds.
The goal of our practice is to team with clients to strategize, plan, architect, design and build/implement/integrate solutions to business opportunities via the use of technology and process improvements, while working within their existing technical infrastructure. Specifically, we focus on technology strategy and planning at both strategic and tactical levels, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Microsoft SharePoint, Enterprise Search, Auto-classification, Email Management, EAI, ATL and general systems integration.
Having spent time on "both sides of the desk" (in both industry and consulting) over the past twenty years, I get great satisfaction in working collaboratively with clients to find solutions to their business problems and gaining their trust so that when new opportunities arise, they come back to us for assistance.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, travel, biking, camping, eclectic music, reading and discovering out-of-the-way restaurants.
