In the past few years people in all parts of the organization are beginning to appreciate what effective electronic records management can mean to their business. It might be as simple as finding what you need quickly, or more complex like cost effectively producing records and information to satisfy an auditor, or something in between. How can you capitalize on this new awareness of electronic records management and help your company succeed?

As companies grapple with the recent economic changes, I’ve noticed a definite shift in how projects are being resourced. Gone are the days of full time team members and dedicated resources. Today’s project managers are faced with relying more heavily on part-time team members. But this new reality doesn’t have to be a bad situation.

Let’s face it, part-time teams are normal! People are much better at working part-time on several projects than we were years ago. It also helps that collaboration tools are better now too.

It was my pleasure to be invited to the Managing Electronic Records (MER) conference this year. Access Sciences was one of only 18 companies identified to exhibit.
